Set Up to Photograph the Bridge
After photographing the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco, California, from various locations, we ventured to Baker Beach on a foggy evening.
Baker Beach, located in San Francisco’s Presidio, is a scenic, mile-long beach famous for its stunning views of the Golden Gate Bridge. While it’s a popular spot for photography, the foggy weather makes it challenging.

We visited Mexico City, Mexico, in June. We will be posting a series of photos from that city.
Mexico City is the densely populated, high-altitude capital of Mexico. Home to over 22 million people, it is a ginormous metropolis that blends ancient history with modern innovation, making it one of the most unique cities in the world.
We stayed at the modern version of Mexico City at the JW Marriott in Polanco, and a renovated historic building for the Hampton Inn in the historic center, to photograph different images of this city.

Rain drops acts as lenses and photograph a reverse image of pine trees in the background. Some interesting and unusual photos captured after a rainfall.
The Somesville Bridge, one of the most photographed bridges in Maine, is located within the charming Village of Somesville on Mount Desert Island. The Somesville Bridge with its graceful arch transgressing the waters of Somes Creek frames nature’s perfection, marking the seasons on many a calendar. The symmetrical reflection of the bridge on the creek add to the image.
Tower Bridge is a drawbridge in London. It crosses the River Thames near the Tower of London. It allows ships through the bridge deck when is raised at an angle in the center. This bridge is well photographed and the red double decker bus adds to this image.
Waves splash in the foreground showcasing the majestic Golden Gate Bridge against a blue sky in San Francisco. Although other bridges have since surpassed it in size, it remains incomparable in the magnificence of its setting and is said to be the most photographed bridge in the world.
The Tetons and the Snake River is a black and white photograph taken by Ansel Adams in 1942, at the Grand Teton National Park, in Wyoming. It is one of his best known and most critically acclaimed photographs. Ansel Adams photographed this iconic view of the Teton Range and Snake River from roughly where we have posted several images (similar to the one below) from the Snake River Overlook. Today visitors try to capture this image forgetting that trees have grown and the exact location is not known.
The T.A. Moulton barn is an iconic structure in Jackson Hole. The view with the barn in the foreground and the Teton Range as the backdrop is one of the most photographed locales in the valley. Thomas Alma (T.A.) Moulton was among the people who moved to the area in the early 1900s. He spent more than 30 years constructing a barn that still stands today. It’s all that remains of the homestead he and his sons built.
Old Faithful may be more famous, but the Grand Prismatic Hot Spring is the most photographed thermal feature in Yellowstone. That’s because of its crazy-bright colors and enormous size. The Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in the United States. Its colors match most of those seen in the rainbow dispersion of white light by an optical prism: red, orange, yellow, green, and blue
While we were there, steam covered the Grand Prismatic and did not reveal its brilliant colors, but adjoining springs were equally colorful and will be posted next.
Jutting out into the Pacific Ocean, it symbolizes the heart of Santa Monica and is one of the most photographed locations in the world. Constructed in 1909, the storied Santa Monica Pier was the first concrete pier on the West Coast. It quickly gained a reputation among locals as the best fishing spot in Santa Monica. Santa Monica Pier fishing remains a popular activity to this day. It contains an amusement park, concession stands, and areas for views.

Carolina Raptor Center (Huntersville, North Carolina) is a living museum, dedicated to the conservation of birds of prey. It is home to over 25 species of native and exotic raptors — hawks, falcons, eagles, merlins, kites and vultures.
Although in captivity, we got an opportunity to photograph some birds in their natural setting. Will be posting individual images of these magnificent birds over the next few weeks.
