Awaiting Sunrise at Isle of Palms
Isle of Palms is a city in South Carolina, on the slender barrier island of the same name. It has seven miles of wide, pristine beaches great for swimming, lounging, fishing, biking and kayaking.

Roan Mountain features a collection of rare plant life, including some of the most beautiful wildflowers in the Blue Ridge Mountains. During our visit we saw only a smidgen of wildflowers, but rhododendrons and flame azaleas were blooming (as posted previously).
