Claiborne Farm is a thoroughbred horse breeding operation near Paris, Kentucky. It was established in 1910 by Arthur B. Hancock, owner of Ellerslie Stud in Albemarle County, Virginia, and has been operated by his family members ever since.
We will post images from a tour there and were surprised to see statues of jockeys instead of horses there.

Not known for its arable farming, The Peak District’s (in England) farmsteads and landscapes reveal a long history of mostly pastoral farming, for the rearing of livestock (growing crops such as hay and silage) and the supply of dairy produce, meat and wool for surrounding markets. The farmed area is 82% in the Peak District.
While at the resort in India, we went for dinner at a farm close by. It was a multipurpose farm with not only a place growing fresh vegetables and flowers and serving delicious dinner, but also a photo location for professional wedding and ad shots.
