Cultivated in Britain and part of the popular and profusely blooming Swan Series, Anemone x ‘Dainty Swan’ produces large, two-toned blossoms of white tinged with purple-pink on the reverse side and golden yellow centers, which appear in June and continue into October. Here are some at the University of Kentucky Arboretum, Lexington, Kentucky.

ARK – Timber-Framed Structure
The Ark Encounter is a unique, historically themed attraction in Williamstown, Kentucky. It presents several historical events centered on a full-size Ark, the largest timber-frame structure in the world, in an entertaining, educational, and immersive way.
Inside the ARK
As one enters Noah’s world aboard the massive Ark, three decks are filled with scores of world-class exhibit bays. These stunning exhibits allow one to experience what Noah’s life may have been like.
Deck 1 immerses guests in the size and scope of the biblical ark as visitors walk through a storage area and learn about animal kinds. Deck 2 focuses on the pre-flood world, animal concerns, and an exploration of Noah and how God could have prepared him for his monumental task. Deck 3 covers plausible living quarters for Noah and his family, flood geology, post-flood events, and a unique Museum of the Bible exhibit.
Noah’s Ark had 1,398 kinds of animals and 6,744 animals. The chart below shows how many things could fit inside the Ark. The ARK displays a variety of distinct animals (such as the one shown below) and numerous types of containers closely resembling Noah’s Ark.

A Dying Tree
Trees with Fences in Lexington Countryside
Regardless of whether the tree is toxic, horses may eat or chew the bark and damage it. If the bark is removed in an entire circle around the trunk, this is called girdling, and the tree may die. To prevent horses from girdling trees, separating them with a fence is best. Many trees with fences are visible in Lexington, Kentucky, in the countryside.
Double Fences in Lexington Countryside
Compared to white picket fences, dark fences are now common in the countryside around Lexington. In 2014, the state of Kentucky passed an ordinance called Paint it Black. It required that miles of white plank fencing that had been in place since be painted black to lower maintenance costs. Now, the most common color for horse fencing is black.
Double-fencing between paddocks or fields keeps horses from interacting across a typical fence and allows vehicles and farm machinery to move easily around the property.
