Swings to View the Intracoastal
The Intracoastal Waterway runs all the way from Winyah Bay to Cape Fear River but really the Intracoastal Waterways run all up and down the East Coast. This 3,000 mile inland waterway consists of natural inlets, saltwater rivers, bays, sounds and canals. In Sunset Beach, the Intracoastal waterway splits the town in half. A nice park allows a peaceful view of the waterway.
SkyWheel at the Beach
The SkyWheel started as a stand-alone iconic attraction in May 2011 at Myrtle Beach. The SkyWheel is not a carnival ride, but a modern, safe observation wheel towering almost 200 feet in the air. It has fully enclosed gondolas offering a safe and secure flight with glass windows and doors for optimal views and photography. The gondolas are heated and cooled allowing for year-round operation in any type of weather.
For me, the SkyWheel was a striking element while shooting sunsets at Myrtle Beach.

Highest Point at Golconda Fort
The crowning glory of Golconda Fort is the Durbar Hall, which stands atop a hill overlooking the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It is approached by a thousand-step stairway with a great view of the cities below – including (on a clear day) the famous Charminar itself.

Royal Views
Views of London from the Royal Observatory Greenwich – an observatory situated on a hill in Greenwich Park, overlooking the River Thames. It played a major role in the history of astronomy and navigation, and is best known for the fact that the prime meridian passes through it, and thereby gave its name to Greenwich Mean Time. There is actually a physical line where one can stand on both the East and West of the prime meridian.
A Different Perspective
St James’s Park is one of London’s eight Royal Parks and covers an area of nearly 57 acres. St James’s Park includes The Mall and Horse Guards Parade, and is surrounded by landmarks such as Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Whitehall.
Here is a different, softer view of Buckingham Palace from St. James Park.
