The green-and-black poison dart frog also known as the green-and-black poison arrow is a brightly colored member of the order Anura native to Central America (we saw it in Panama)Â and northwestern parts of South America.
The green-and-black poison dart frog has the typical appearance of the members of its family. Males average 0.75 inches (1.9Â cm), while females are slightly larger, averaging an inch or longer.
The green-and-black poison dart frog, while not the most toxic poison dart frog, is still a highly toxic animal. The very small amount of poison the frog possesses is enough to make a human heart stop beating.

AÂ quira tree sighted at the Embera Village in Panama. Panama redwood is the hard heavy wood of a quira tree.
Panama Redwood is one of the most noble and precious woods in the world. Hard, heavy and strong, it has a straw-yellow sapwood while the heartwood is a magnificent intense caramel. Decorated with wide bands and a far darker hue, it results in a distinct appearance.
Another characteristic of Panama Redwood is its unmistakable sweet caramel aroma that permeates the environment where there is timber of this type that has not been painted or varnished.
