Known widely as “Chianti in the Carolinas” Raffaldini currently produces only classically dry Italian style wines ranging from reds like Sangiovese Classico, Montepulciano Riserva, Sagrantino and Grande Riserva with the white being Vermentino and a sparkling Prosecco style wine called Auguri.

North Carolina wines are quite a ways away from competing with Napa Valley and other well-known regions. However, the Raffaldini Vineyards are showcasing truly excellent wines.
The vines are sparse and there aren’t any grapes to speak of just yet. By the time late summer rolls around, these vineyards will be lush with grapes and greenery.

Nestled in the rolling foothills of the Swan Creek Wine Appellation within the Yadkin Valley, family-owned Raffaldini Vineyards brings Tuscan charm to Ronda, North Carolina. This is a stunning vineyard/winery off the beaten path. The building is a gorgeous stone manor and the surrounding area is lush and beautiful.
