Coleus at the Ark
Coleus plants have a wide range of color variations, from bright chartreuse to hot pink to near black and any number of combinations. Their leaves are one to six inches long and come in many shapes and sizes.

Back of Sunflowers
The back of a sunflower is interesting. The stem is the long, narrow part and is referred to as a peduncle for composite (although it looks like a single flower, a composite flower is made up of many smaller flowers, sometimes called florets) flowers. The green, hairy structures that resemble leaves are called phyllaries.

Privet Bonsai
Privet Bonsai is a great bonsai tree with a big fat trunk. Privet is a genus of deciduous and evergreen shrubs and small trees that are native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. They are widely cultivated for ornamental purposes and are known for their attractive glossy leaves and small white or creamy white flowers that bloom in the summer.

This amazing tropical-looking favorite is grown as a dieback perennial. The fast-growing, thick, fuzzy, upright stems of Tetrapanax papyrifera are clothed with large, equally fuzzy, green castor bean-like leaves emerging from an underground rhizome. Rice paper plant will spread underground in good soils
Hosta -Brother Stefan- Plantain Lily
Hosta is a genus of plants commonly known as hostas, plantain lilies and occasionally by the Japanese name gibōshi. Brother Stefan offers spectacular large variegated hosta with thick corrugated leaves that offer good slug resistance. White flowers in summer. Full shade to filtered sun.

The natural geometric shapes of leaves make interesting designs themselves, but adding water on the leaves adds to the beauty of the image

The Jackson Hole area in Wyoming is most known for the yellow and gold leaves of the aspen and cottonwood trees. We were a little early for Fall colors in September, but some leaves were changing.
