Inside the two biomes at Eden Project (in England) are plants that are collected from many diverse climates and environments. The covered biomes are constructed from a tubular steel (hex-tri-hex) with mostly hexagonal external cladding panels made from the thermoplastic ETFE.
The Rainforest Biome is the largest indoor rainforest in the world with over 1,000 varieties of plants.

The project is located in a reclaimed china clay pit, located 2 km from the town of St Blazey and 5 km from the larger town of St Austell.
