The palm silhouetted against the lighthouse gives this such a specific Palos Verdes feel — you’d know that stretch of coast even without the caption. Sunset rays that clean usually mean you waited around a lot longer than the photo suggests.
Thanks for the insightful comments.! I actually went to get a cup of coffee after the mid-afternoon shots, and came later as the sun was setting.
