I always liked zoos; when I read about Noah’s ark, I always wondered how they managed to have the animals not fight/eat each other; how they were fed, and then there was the question of what to do with all the fecal matter. I thought about Mrs. Noah, and the mess and smell she had to contend with–I’m sure she was the one who insisted Noah see if there was dry land anywhere. It is a compelling story with lots of questions for a farm girl to consider.
