Indian Oleander

Known around India as Kaner (Hindi), Arali (Tamil), Karaveera (Sanskrit), oleanders have graced Indian gardens for centuries. They are likely to have originated in North Africa in the regions surrounding Morocco and Mauritania. The flower is sacred to Lord Shiva and is offered to the deity.
