It’s called “Chalk Lettuce” and it’s a “species of Liveforevers.”
I used an app called PictureThis on my phone and scanned the screen, you can use it to photograph actual plants to identify them or even good photos of plants on a monitor or a page or whatever.
Adam, thank you so much for identifying these buds. I normally use Google Lens to identify flowers. I will take a look at PictureThis.
These are the flowers of Chalk Dudleya, a succulent plant known by the common names chalk lettuce and chalk liveforever. The flowers are tubular and pollination is primarily by hummingbirds or bumblebees.
