The Old Cemetery is a resting place for early settlers of Charlotte, North Carolina. The modern buildings seem out of place against this serenity.

Both are beautiful in their own ways but it just feels wrong to have modern buildings right next to the cemetery. Oh well… I guess we need to accept the old with the new. 🙂
