Sunrises are meant to be savored—one of my favorite time of the day. When I was dealing with my parents’ estate I would sit on the front steps of my friends’ house and watch the sun rise over the mists of the Wisconsin river– sometimes I would see a few deer or turkey wander across the hay field; sometimes I just watched the corn waver gently in the breeze. It’s been a long times since I have seen a sun-rise in Maine—your photos are the next best thing to being there
