Ecuador Amazon – Hoatzin Spreading its Wings

The Hoatzin (stink bird), shown here spreading its wings, is a species of tropical bird found in swamps and mangrove of the Amazon and the Orinoco delta in South America.

Love to know about this unusual bird – never saw it myself or was even aware of it when I was in the Ecuadorian amazon. MM 👍
