My Dad loved popcorn. It was a favorite evening snack in the winter ..winters were long in Wisconsin. He would plant the popcorn in the fieldm filling one hopper with popcorn kernels. the other hoppers had field corn destined for either silage or the corn crib. But one year he found strawberry popcorn–the cobs looked just like strawberries; the popcorn was the usual white when popped. but those little cobs were hard to husk and he never grew it again. Thanks for this photos–inspriing a lovely memorey
