The three stepped waterfalls at Aysgarth have been a tourist attraction for over 200 years. More recently they provided a dramatic setting for a scene from the Hollywood movie Robin Hood Prince of Thieves. A viewing spot gets you closer to the Middle Asygarth Falls.
Brings back memories of days gone by. I was raised in the north of England and Asygarth Falls was somewhere we visited quite often.
